Campus Ministry

"As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace. Whoever preaches, let it be with the words of God; whoever serves, let it be with the strength that God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen." - 1 Peter 4:10-11

The mission of Campus Ministry is to serve the spiritual needs of our students through worship, formation, stewardship, service, fellowship, and leadership opportunities.  Informed by our Catholic faith, we form intentional disciples by authentically witnessing to the Gospel.  While our primary focus is on our student body, we serve faculty, staff and the Church of the Incarnation supportive community.

Campus Ministry has two principal aims.  The first is accompanying students from the point of acceptance at the University of Dallas through to their post graduation integration into a parish  life or religious vocation. During this crucial time when many young adults abandon the faith, Campus Ministry seeks to supplement their academics with human and spiritual accompaniment and opportunities to have an authentic encounter with Jesus Christ.

The second aim of Campus Ministry is to intentionally form disciples of Jesus Christ who are leaders in both their church and wider community.  While mentorship and formation prepare them to identify and live out their vocation, students are also challenged to humbly accept and use the gifts they have received from the Holy Spirit in their pursuit of not just knowledge and understanding, but ultimately of holiness.

Located on the 2nd floor of SB Hall (rooms 254A-E), the Campus Ministry Office is open from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday and everyone is welcome either to talk to one of our staff members or to relax and enjoy a snack.

Campus Ministry also offers a variety of activities and other ways for students to get involved in the University of Dallas community. From the Men's Society to Blessed is She to FOCUS Bible Studies to volunteer opportunities throughout the University and Dallas area communities, there is something for everyone. We also offer all students a free weekly dinner through our Open Anselm ministry. For more information regarding Campus Ministry activities, see our Ministries and Retreats pages.

Campus Ministry is integrally linked to the Church of the Incarnation.  For the sacramental schedule (Mass and Reconciliation) and other information, please visit the Church of the Incarnation webpage.
